Canis x Sirius – Cold Ways EP – Vibe City

Happy Friday D&B fans!  Strex back on Best Drum & Bass with another article, this one from the Vibe City camp!  

In the form of the Father & Son duo; Canis and Sirius, we have a more chilled offering from this up and coming partnership, blessing us with a 4 track EP on the fairly new label Vibe City.

First up we have Wide Awake which starts off with a serene intro and dished up with some really beautiful vocals which lead us to the drop which keeps the chilled vibe and dances us off through a blend of brilliant production and a real tunefulness.  

Next up we have Should Have Never which has a delightfully musical intro leading us to a drop which is kind of jazzy and smooth, letting us know that Canis & Sirius are serious about providing some incredible music.

The third instalment of this release is Cold which breathes an icy vocal upon us in the build up to the drop.  This is a slightly more gritty offering on this release but it maintains that musicality which we have gotten used to from the previous 2 tracks on this EP.

Lastly we have Ways which starts off quite subdued.  With a cinematic build up, we have an energy fuelled drop which gets the head nodding.  Remaining tuneful like the rest of this release, it is a beautifully produced track and one to finish you off on your listening adventure with its wicked beat and wonderful vocals.
