Dave Shichman w/ T:Base & NRV – Make Me Stay/Leaving It All Behind – Vibe City

by | Sep 18, 2026 | Releases, Tunes

Howdy D&B fans!  Strex back this week with another release from the wonderful Vibe City label!  This one is a new artist to me, Dave Shichman.  He’s a long standing figure in the US D&B scene and has been involved for more than 20 years as a DJ, Producer, Vocalist and Label Manager.  Dave has had releases on labels such as Technique, Fornation, Four Corners, Fokuz and Dirtbox Recordings.

First up on this single we have Make Me Stay which features T:Base.  This track is a beautifully produced tune with completely smooth vibes and outstanding vocals.  A real peach of a tune that gives you emotion and energy all in one with it’s melodic layers and fast paced beats.

On the flip of that we have Leave It All Behind which features NRV.  This one has a wicked vocal in the build up to the tune.  We have a wonderful Think Break that provides a heavy riff as this tune drops into a bass heavy but tuneful piece of music.  A cracking track filled with energy to get you tapping your feet and even getting up for a brock out!

So you can grab a copy of this single today (Friday 18th September) which as usual, clicking the banner above or artwork below will take you straight there.

Absolute D&B nut! Love any type of Drum & Bass really but Neuro is my main passion. I got into D&B back in around 2004 where I started going raving, I then discovered heavier D&B in the form of Renegade Hardware nights in London which I attended almost every one for several years. Having developed my listening style with how the music has evolved I love the freshest tunes as well as the old ones! I've been mixing for fun since around 2005 and just love playing in front of people and sharing the music with likeminded people.
