Double Medley – Propaganda / Osymetry – VTO Records

Happy Friday D&B freaks!  Strex is back with another sicko release from VTO Records, one of the prime Neurofunk labels.  

This release is from Double Medley and is a two piece set of delicious fire.  Double Medley are an Estonian D&B duo who create atmospheric tracks designed to really get into your brain, and they do it well!

First up on the release is Propaganda, this has a sinister feel to it right from the outset with an echoed broadcasting voice which then leads you to a drop that is just filth all over.  It’s technical and offers some serious stimulation of the senses.  Really great tune and perfectly produced.  

On the flip side of that we have Osymetry.  This one kicks you straight across the face from the outset with a distorted sub bass that chugs you through at intervals towards the drop.  When this engine fires into life, it’s gritty and ferocious.  One not to be messed with, it has high levels of distortion and some funky bass sounds that keep your head nodding all the way through.

Wicked release, as we can expect from the VTO camp, this one from Double Medley is unquestionably brilliant.

Absolute D&B nut! Love any type of Drum & Bass really but Neuro is my main passion. I got into D&B back in around 2004 where I started going raving, I then discovered heavier D&B in the form of Renegade Hardware nights in London which I attended almost every one for several years.
