ESKR & Erbass – Cities #3 – Dirtbox Recordings

Yo my wonderful D&B family!  This weeks hot release is from one of our favourtite labels, Dirtbox Recordings,

This release is by ESKR who we have seen on the label before and this time is joined by Erbass.  A two-part release which starts off with the tune from ESKR called Static Route.

It starts it’s intro off with a kind of neuro and a mid-2000’s jump up vibe which builds to a point then stops before banging in a wicked funky drop.  The tune is so fun and really gets you bouncing with it’s energetic snares and distorted reece bass.  Really wicked tune and when I first listened to it I was bouncing off the walls.  Hats off ESKR – This one is awesome.

Next up from Erbass we have Perseverance where the Brazilian producer gives us a kind of older style liquidy vibe intro but do not be mistaken; this is another face melter which almost borders older Evol Intent on Barcode Recordings style with it’s dirty echoing amen break and heavy bass lines. Modern Jungle taken to a whole new level.  Lets do this!

Absolute D&B nut! Love any type of Drum & Bass really but Neuro is my main passion. I got into D&B back in around 2004 where I started going raving, I then discovered heavier D&B in the form of Renegade Hardware nights in London which I attended almost every one for several years.
