Fr4ktion – Lucid Transmission EP – Vibe City

Howdy Best Drum & Bass fans!  Strex back this weekend with another summer luvvin release from the Vibe City camp.

This one is by Fr4ktion and you know it’s going to bring the summer vibes as releases from Vibe City always do.

First up we have Vibin which has a beautifully serene intro that layers itself perfectly towards a chilled and dreamy drop.  With lovely 80’s style synths and a rolling beat that takes you off to a beach somewhere on a warm summers evening, you can almost hear the waves washing up onto the shore.

Next up we have Reason To Survive.  This one hits with similar feels to Vibin immediately and you know you’re going to be taken on a journey to a far away land.  It’s a head nodding tune but is so chilled at the same time, this is something really special.

Last but not least we have Don’t Let Go.  This one starts with a moody trancy intro that has a slight chill in the air as it rolls towards the drop. You are taken into a part of Fr4ktions brain that has some darker undertones.  The drop is no exception, still chilled out but is a much more downtuned affair.  This one is probably my favourite on the release.
