Hackwaves – Zero Day feat. Wiguez, Moderate Hate, Midnight CVLT – Eatbrain

Yo D&B fans!

Strex back here on Best Drum & Bass with a new release from the amazing Eatbrain camp.  This one is from Hackwaves and features the likes of Wiguez, Moderate Hate and Midnight CVLT with a beautiful 4 part EP.

First up we have Bassline which starts us off with a lovely melody and then a building beat which takes you to a drop with a disgusting bassline which I imagine was the aim when producing this tune and calling it this!  A real head nodder with a gritty sound and wicked beat, a tune not to be messed with.

Next up we have Tech Cvlt which features Midnight CVLT.  This is a sinister sounding tune that leads you on a journey to the drop which is pure fire.  It’s heavy and beats you across the face neatly and tidily while cutting your legs off at the knee.  A wicked tune and what we can expect from two great producers like this.

The third track on this EP is called Arrika and features Moderate Hate.  This one is melodic until the stabs come in as it forces your hand to the drop which has a sweeping bassline and stabbing riffs and some awesome vocals layered perfectly over the top.

Lastly we have Lifeline and this one features Wiguez.  A solemn affair to begin with we then get a vocal taking you towards the drop which comes at you hard when it kicks in.  This one is a belter which will tear through the dance floor while you try to compose yourself.
