Jane Doe and DT3 – Meant To Be / Sometimes – Vibe City

What’s happening my D&B friends?  Got a new release from the beautifully chilled Vibe City label this week and it’s from someone we’re usually used to hearing some gnarly neurofunk from; Jane Doe.  A great producer from Australia, Jane is always coming through with the goods and this is no exception.

First up we have a solo effort from her, Meant To Be.  This starts off very chilled before dropping into a wonderful piece of music that takes you on a journey through the sunset and you feel every beat and the soft yet deep bassline mellows you further.  A really smooth tune that captures your imagination and pushes you onwards to a destination of serenity.

On the flipside we have a track called Sometimes which features DT3.  This one is equally melodic to begin with, encompassing piano and strings and washing waves before the beat comes in and the vocal layered over the top which takes you away to a place of pure peace.   A wonderful piece of production from Jane and DT3!
