Sola – Degradation / Move With the Friction – Dirtbox Recordings

Yooooooo!  Hows it going my D&B fans?  Got a wicked release this week on Dirtbox Recordings.  This one is from the mighty Sola and it’s exactly what you would expect, pure fire!

A 2 track single this one features a couple of bangers so let’s get into it!

First up we have Degradation.  A really cool atmospheric intro that brings some nice synths and then a bass wind up that is enough to get the face screwing already.  It has a mid 2000’s vibe about it and I love it, that was the golden era for me.  A hard hitting beast of a track that I loved every second of!

On the flipside we have Move With the Friction.  This one has a cyber, space kind of vibe to the intro, again almost oozing that mid 2000’s feeling even before the drop and I’m here all day for that.  The drop has a fast paced vocal on top that then lets you know the tune is here to stay when the driven bass and beat come in and attack all your senses.  A wicked track!  

Nice one Sola, you’ve produced something pretty special here bringing a bit of an old flavour into the modern age.  Sick business!
